AI coding helps more people ship—but “live and usable” vs “a commercial product anyone can use” still takes craft. That gap comes before taste.

AI coding really does let many more people build products. But the gap between something that ships and works, and a commercial product ordinary people can actually use, is like the old gap between “I have an idea” and “a good product”—both need a lot of fine craft.

That gap is still too wide to be talking about taste.
