My journey of discovering AI coding tools and how they transformed my approach to product development.

Six months ago, I discovered AI coding tools, and they transformed how I approach product development. What used to take weeks of coordination between design and engineering now happens in days, sometimes hours.

## The Discovery

My first experience with AI coding was building a simple dashboard. Instead of creating detailed mockups and specifications, I described what I needed and watched functional code emerge. The speed was intoxicating.
But speed wasn't the only benefit. The iterative nature of AI coding allowed me to explore ideas I would never have pursued through traditional development processes.

## Changing the Design Process

With AI coding, the line between design and development blurs. You can prototype with real data, test actual interactions, and validate ideas with users much earlier in the process.
This changed how I think about product development. Instead of designing in isolation, I'm constantly building and testing, letting user feedback guide the direction.

## The Learning Curve

Adopting AI coding isn't just about learning new tools. It's about developing a new mindset. You need to think in systems and logic while maintaining design sensibility.
The best projects happen when you can clearly communicate your vision to the AI, providing enough context and constraints to guide the output.

## Looking Forward

I believe AI coding will democratize product development, allowing designers to bring ideas to life without traditional technical barriers. We're just at the beginning of this transformation.
